Glass or Plastic? Which is best?

Updated: Jan 7

Coming at you this Wednesday with a new wellness hack. Before I share, I want to reiterate I am by no means an expert. My goal is to share easy and affordable hacks to become a better version of yourself. I'm not perfect and have a long ways to go, but I fully believe 1% gains add up over time!

So glass or plastic? Which IS best? Well- plastic is more readily available and usually cheaper - but at what cost to your body? I've done a good amount of research on this topic and landed on a few opinions of my own.

BPA (Bisphenol A) is a common toxic chemical in most plastic that is used to harden the plastic. This chemical has been known to be an endocrine disruptor which can cause infertility, obesity/metabolism issues, cancer progression, PCOS, Type 2 Diabetes, and fetus issues to name a few. Read More Here

France has completely banned BPA from being used and Europe has banned it in all baby products. We know the US is the last place to ban things, so it's time we take control of our bodies ourselves. This is such an easy and affordable way to make a difference, a 1% gain!

Here are the links to my favorite glass storage containers: Seasoning Containers (that come with 3 different style labels!)

Here is the link to my exact glass pantry containers for flour and sugar. Glass Containers

I would love to see photos if you put any of these tips to use! It's aways a bonus when it's good for you, good for the planet, ascetically pleasing and affordable!
